Malanga Chips
Prep: 10 minutes | Cook: 10 minutes | Yield: 20 chips
INGREDIENTS:
1 large malanga/taro
1 cup vegetable oil for frying
salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Peel the malanga and cut off both ends.
2. Using a mandolin, cut the malanga into fine pieces.
3. Heat the oil to medium-low heat.
4. Fry the malanga pieces until they feel crunchy and golden (since they are thin they can burn easily, be careful).
5. Add salt to taste and enjoy!
