INGREDIENTS:
1 green plantain
protein of choice (churrasco, chicken breast, ham, turkey, chorizo, etc)
cheese of choice (cheddar, swiss, american, provolone, etc)
mayoketchup
chimichurri
lettuce
tomato , sliced
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Make two vertical cuts to each plantain and then cut the ends off.
2. Place the plantains in the microwave for 5 minutes each.
3. Take them out of the microwave, peel and cut them in half.
4. Smash between two flat surfaces until it reaches the desired thickness.
5. Fry the Plantains.
6. Place one of the fried plantains on a plate and top with desired protein, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayoketchup and chimichurri. Top with the other Fried plantain.
7. Cut in half and enjoy!
